andrea_meyersonDr. Ronni Sanlo

is a Director Emeritus of the UCLA Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center (LGBT) Center and a frequent speaker and consultant on LGBT issues in Higher Education. Dr. Sanlo was also the Senior Associate Dean of Students and professor/director of the UCLA Masters of Education in Student Affairs. Ronni served as the director of the UCLA LGBT Center, the director of the University of Michigan LGBT Center, and as an HIV epidemiologist in Florida.

She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Florida, and a masters and doctorate in education from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Her consultation, research, and many publications focus on sexual orientation issues in education and higher education. Ronni sat on the national boards of NASPA, CAS, and the NASPA Journal editorial board, and is the founding chair of the Consortium of Higher Education Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Professionals. She is the originator of the award-winning Lavender Graduation, a commencement event that celebrates the lives and achievements of graduating LGBT college students.

Though retired Ronni continues to research and write and is currently working on an intergenerational WWII historical novel which focuses on the liberation of Dachau. Her most recent book, Identity and Leadership: Informing Our Lives, Informing Our Practice, co-edited with Dr. Alicia Chavez, was published by NASPA in 2013. Ronni lives in Palm Spring, CA, where she rides around in her purple golf cart - the title of her memoir - and plays rotten but passionate golf.


Meredith BaxterMeredith Baxter

is an actress, writer, mother of five. She has starred in four series, including the long-running Family Ties. She's been nominated for three Emmys, and made over fifty movies for television. She recently filmed a low-budget feature, Naughty or Nice and a few movies for television.

Her New York Times Bestselling book UNTIED, a Memoir of Fame, Family and Floundering was published in March, 2011. She is a contributor to Barnes and Noble book reviews.

Baxter is a speaker on issues as divergent as alcohol abuse, domestic abuse, breast cancer, abortion rights, and LGBT issues. Baxter is aging gracefully and just might be writing and speaking about that, too.

She lives in Santa Monica, California with her partner, Nancy Locke.
